1 rib eye steak around 1.5 lbs, cut into 1-1.5 inch cubes
Make marinade by mixing in a small bowl:
10 cloves of garlic, minced
1 Tbs soy sauce
1 Tbs mirin
1 Tbs oyster sauce
1 Tbs sesame oil
1 ts sugar
1 ts pink Himalayan salt
1 green onion, chopped
1. Marinate steak overnight & remove any excess water by blotting gently with a paper towel.
2. Heat a wok on high and wait for it to reach maximum temperature. Add 1 Tbs of oil or ghee & the steak and let it cook without disturbing for 4-5 mins depending on your stove. This step will allow the meat to brown nicely and add aroma to your steak. Stir fry for about 30 seconds and let it cook for another 3-4 minutes so that all sides are nicely brown. Add 1 chopped green onion and stir for another 1-2 mins. (or longer, depending on taste. I like mine rare/med rare)
3. Serve with a bowl of hot steamed rice & Enjoy!
