Systemic inflammation is more common than we might think. It’s a bodily response to stress and poor diet. While some inflammation is a natural part of the immune system’s function, chronic inflammation can happen when we never give the body a chance to recover – in other words, when we are repeatedly stressed out or we repeatedly consume inflammatory foods.

Ingredients (all organic, of course!) 1 (packed) cup spinach
1 (packed) cup parsley
5 ribs celery
1 large cucumber
2 medium avocados (fruit only, discard peel and pit)
2 Tbsp coconut oil
juice from 1 lime
Blend everything together for 30 seconds to 1 minute, until smooth. Best served fresh!
